Did Narinder really say that?

Throughout the year we’re going to be rummaging through some Flickr albums and sending some of them to a pop psychologist to tell us what your photos really mean. You’d be amazed at what your albums of shop windows or snaps of festivals really mean…

Narinder

Narinder’s first photo entitled “tears dry on their own” is very symbolic. She appears to be a person who likes to have fun and gives the impression that she is not one to dwell on things.  But let’s go deeper! There are only so many hours that one can party in a day.

Is Narinder the type of person who can put up a good front. She appears to be happy and make other people laugh. However, behind the smiles and laughter there could be a deeper side to Narinder that she may be reluctant to share.

Narinder shares with the viewer that she is sociable and does not shy away from showing her affection to others.  Her pictures show that she likes to be surrounded with laughter. She also likes to celebrate; even when the occasion could potentially be sad one, (such as a leaving party).  For Narinder there is no time to give too much thought to her tears as they will eventually “dry on their own”.

Narinder’s appears easygoing. She gives the impression that she has many friends but doesn’t belong to a particular group, but rather has learnt the skill of engaging with many people, a bit like a social butterfly. Because of this level of social interaction she may not have any deep friendship connections with any of them, however she will indeed be a value member of all the friendship groups that she is a part of. A skill in itself!

On reflection I was left wondering who is the real Narinder when the party is over. Has she discovered who she is or is it the case she does not feel the need to dig deep?  Then again why should she if she is having so much fun?
