Portugal is a country by the sea, with a perfect coastline for lovers of the natural landscape.
The Portuguese coast goes from north to south, where we will find beaches of all kinds, from rocks to long sandy beaches, with numerous dangers for our fishermen and all those who live by the sea. This is why “The Headlights” were made.

Let’s start the adventure in Porto at the Lighthouse of Felgueiras, or Lighthouse of Molhe Felgueiras
It has a hexagonal tower, ten meters high. It has a red lantern which makes it unique.
In winter, the force of nature is extreme. The waves can reach the top of the lighthouse!
At sunset, the sun becomes red and the light is beautiful. .
In the region of Leiria there is Penedo da Saudade Lighthouse. It is a 32m high square tower of stones.
When I took this photo, I named it “the shell”. It’s a perfect spot for long exposures. The colors make us fall in love with the sunset.
Very close to the capital Lisbon, there is Cabo Raso Lighthouse. And in Sesimbra, we find the lighthouse of Cape Espichel. Here is where I live, Serra da Arrabida, great place for sea and food. Come and visit!
Lisbon, the Portuguese capital, is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Situated on a series of hills leading down to the great river Tagus, walking through its colorful and picturesque streets, you constantly face the beautiful and surprising landscapes, the belvederes and esplanades strategically located at the top of each hill.
Cape Espichel is a religious place, where we find the rocky cliffs, and the nature shows an extreme force!
The place i really think is great for photography is the lighthouse of Cabo de São Vicente is a lighthouse in Sagres, Algarve. “Where the earth ends and the sea begins” at the South-Western cape of Europe, steeped in the mystery of oceanic uncertainties. The extreme of the world, where at the beginning of the century navigation became particularly dangerous.
